Lord, forgive me for my foolishness,
Thinking my intellect is greater than your wisdom
That my life journey is above your plans
That my way is greater than your way
You are the standard for my life
The only Man not conquered by sin and death
Your resurrection has guaranteed your dominion
As the appointed Ruler of the world
In You, I will gain victory over:
The storms that will test my faith
The darkness that will cover your light
The many circumstances that I will not understand
Lord, I need your wisdom for a stronger spiritual life
As my Creator, you know what is best for me
I freely accept your boundaries for my life
This fool, eats too much and spends too much
Forgive my selfishness and judgmental nature
Purge my self-dependence and forgive my sins
As your child, I will bear my cross
And rest firmly in the hope of salvation
