Lord, the sin in my world is easy to recognize
Help me acknowledge the sin in my heart
And seek your forgiveness and cleansing love
For your divine love is greater than all my transgressions
Beyond all my knowledge and understanding
A mystery to my intellect, but heaven to my heart
May my prayers express my love for Thee?
Prayers of surrender, worship and celebration
A surrender to your agenda
A cry for help for my disloyal heart
A celebration of your grace
In the context of submission and service
I recognize the war in my heart
The battle between the kingdom of self
Versus the Kingdom of God
Help me let go of my selfish desires
And accept your Kingdom of grace
And rest in the comfort of your loving arms
May I live each day as your bride
No longer bound by my circumstances but
Bound to Thee, my Bridegroom
In an everlasting love and eternal life
Free from the fallen world and
It’s sinful nature
