MY GRANDMOTHER’S MORNING PRAYER
“If I be lifted up, I will draw all people on to me.” (John 12:32)
Begin each day by making Jesus the Lord of that day with the circumstances of that day “Jesus you are the Lord of this new day, the Lord of my prayer time, the Lord of this difficulty, this challenge, this meeting, this journey. You are my Lord this day!”
PRAYER TO TAKE AUTHORITY on all that would block his Lordship;
In the name of Jesus, I take authority and I bind all powers and forces in the air, in the ground, in the water, in the underground, in the netherworld, in nature and in fire. (Rev 12:9)
You are the Lord over the entire universe and I give you the Glory for your creation. In your name, I bind all the demonic forces that have come against us, and our families and seal all of us in the protection of your Precious Blood that was shed for us on the cross.
Mary, our Mother, we seek your protection and intercession with the Sacred Heart of Jesus for us, and our families. Surround us with your mantle of love to discourage the enemy. Saint Michael and our guardian Angels, come defend us, and our families in battle against all the evil ones that roam the land. (Rev 12:9)
In the name of Jesus, I bind and command all the powers and forces of evil to depart right now away from our family, our homes and our lands. We thank you, Lord Jesus, for you are a faithful and compassionate God. Amen
While getting dressed, pray and sing in the Spirit asking Jesus to baptize you anew in the Holy Spirit asking, for a full anointing of the Holy Spirit for that day. Thank him for all anointing then and throughout the day.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me and he has anointed me to do whatever…. this day and each day.” Each day, ask for a different kind of fullness of the Holy Spirit to fit your needs, a Baptism of truth, love, peace, joy, wisdom etc.
MY GRANDMOTHER’S EVENING PRAYER
FORGIVENESS PRAYER
Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, look back into my memory as I sleep. Every hurt that has ever been done to me – heal that hurt. Every hurt that I have ever caused another person – heal that hurt. All the relationships that have been damaged in my whole life that I'm not aware of – heal those relationships.
But Lord, if there is anything that I need to do – if I need to go to a person because he or she is still suffering because of me, bring to my awareness that person.
I choose to forgive, and I asked to be forgiven. Remove whatever bitterness may be in my heart, Lord, and fill the empty spaces with your love. Thank you, Jesus. Amen
PRAYER TO BE PRAYED EACH NIGHT WHILE BLESSING YOURSELF WITH OIL
Father, in the name of Jesus, I bless myself with his holy oil for my total healing the body, mind and spirit. I ask that a drop of the precious blood flow through all of my veins and through the full power of the death and resurrection of Jesus, I rebuke the power of cancer and every other deadly disease in my body. Amen.
