“As the Father has sent me, so I send you” (John 20:27)
“Ye shall be witnesses unto me” (Acts 1:8)

We are all our Lord’s “sent-ones”
Modern day witnesses for “His Majesty’s Service”
People will see God/Jesus in who we are,
in what we do and what we say, and
what we refrain from being, doing and saying

In our lives, we are always preaching
What do we say about life and its meaning and purpose?
Do we focus on loneness, poverty and inability?
Or God’s presence, provisions and power?
Do our words produce fear and timidity?
Or faith, hope and courage?
Is our God distant, passive and uncaring?
Or near, loving and active?

God in his grace has given us the answers
May we absorb his word and preach it to ourselves

May we believe its truths and in God’s presence
May we grow in God’s grace and increase our faith
May we grow in God’s love to influence our thoughts, words and deeds
May we grow in humility, to be nothing in the world and
everything in His Kingdom

Let us seek to know Him more
Abide in the cross
Search the mystery of His wounds
Increase our love for our Savior
