SOUND OF FREEDOM
Lord, thank you for the gift of children, innocent and pure
They are a gift of your love in our lives
Yet there are powers of darkness that would harm your blessings
Our innocents can fall victim to evil, abused and imprisoned
We hear their cry, O Lord
May we hear the sound of freedom
Our freedom is in God’s hands, bought by Christ and safe from harm
God’s little ones need our protection and to be safe in your arms
Our prayers ask you to deliver them from these chains of bondage
We can no longer be blind, silent or uninvolved in this war
May we hear the sound of freedom
We must fight for their freedom
Lord you know the enemy’s tactics and strengths
Allow us to wear the armor of faith and wait for your orders
As you sharpen our weapons of victory
May we hear the sound of freedom
We will wear your protective shield through faith and prayer bearing your righteousness
Go before us O Lord, as we whisper your name and proclaim, “Your children are not for sale”
But with you at our side, who can be against us. The victory is yours!
May we hear the sound of freedom in their laughter once again for their names will be written in heaven?
